La Cabrera Grillado and Bar

For Valentine's day this year, we tried out La Cabrera of Makati. Located where Lolo Dad's used to be, we had to try out their well-known-for beef.

For starters, we had the bountiful caesar salad. We didn't get to enjoy much of this because we were interrupted with the serving of the main dish! This kind of ruined the supposed-to-be intimate dining moment.

The main dish: Rib eye steak with almost unlimited variety at unlimited amounts of sides! The beef was as good as we expected: flavorful and fragrant.

We added this must-have item: Provoleta con Jamon Crudo, Tomassecos y Albahaca (Grilled provolone cheese with parma ham, sun-dried tomatoes and basil). This was the star of the night. It had to be eaten fast to prevent the cheese from hardening back up. No problem with that, since it was so darn good!

They'll slice and serve this to the guests' plates suggesting for it to be eaten ASAP.

We were provided with a tower of lollipops for a sweet ending.

Busog! I'm surely going back for the steak and cheese!
