Burger Bar Greenbelt

A rare meet-up with the some Eco friends called for a fast-casual restaurant at Greenbelt. These guys are always on time and prefers early dinners, similar to how Nikko is (and far from how my Eng buddies and I are.. lol!).

Jaime and Nikko were in charge for selecting the venue. As soon as we got there, I was immediately transferred elsewhere with its vibe and style. Was I in Malugay at The Collective? Somewhere at City Golf? I loved how it's so different from other Greenbelt restaurants.

We eyed this interesting dessert and promised to have some if our tummies could accommodate after.

What I found interesting is how they have different kinds of patty makes, including the "Beef Bomb", "Steak Cut" and "Big Game".

Selecting from the Tributes section of the menu, I had the Bleu. I ate it with crossed fingers knowing that Blue Cheese is a no-no for pregnant women.

A quarter into my burger, I realized I was munching into a medium well-done burger patty! (Another no-no). Aggh. I had it returned to the kitchen and received a weird version of it: no more toppings, but full of fries and new paper lines. Hmm. I found the burger underseasoned and mediocre, and ate through it absentmindedly.

Nikko didn't have much complains about his "The Piggy", with double patty Beef Bomb Blend of chuck and short rib, mozzarella, fried bacon strips, house-made bacon jam, lollo rossa greens, garlic aioli on a fluffy sesame bun

Jaime, Lie and Paolo had the 4Cheese Burger in variations of single and double patty. Parmsan-crusted single / double patty Beef Bomb blend of chuck and short rib, yellow cheddar, aged gruyere, mozzarella, arugula, garlic aioli. They seemed to be pleased with their orders.

I insisted to "share" the Creamy Shrimp and Tomato Alfredo Pasta and ended up eating most of it.  I just couldn't get enough! The rest barely touched it since they were busy with their own burgers. I wish I skipped my burger and focused on finishing this one.

We had add-ons per burger: fries and soda is +P85, fries and beer +P105.

In the end, we were so full that didn't have space to try out the Speculoos Cookie Butter Milkshake or any desserts for that matter. Great thing the good company and ambiance offset the so-so food we shared.
