First Recipe-Based Juice: Apple + Spinach + Parsley + Carrot

I searched for spinach-based recipes through the web and found this one from thehungryhusky's blog, slightly modifying the carrot content.

Here are the ingredients to my Apple + Spinach + Parsley + Carrot juice:

I enjoyed watching these almost-dry pulp grouping together to become a colourful bunch.

We quickly blanched the greens (due to potential toxic pesticide concerns), which is probably the reason for this sad, green color. I also read that dry leaves work better with the machine compared to wet. In terms of flavours, I love how parsley added the fresh and slightly bitter taste.

Update: I re-did the recipe except for the blanching part, but still washed the greens with baking soda. Much greener output!

Health benefits per ingredient
Apple: cleans liver and kidneys, has A, C, E, K, B1, B2, B6 and Folate
Carrot: high in antioxidants A, C, E, zinc and copper
Spinach: loaded with flavonoids, excellent source of iron, vitamin K and A
Parsley: stimulates digestive track, reduces inflammation and packed with Vitamin A and C
