Cold Spoon Clark Field Angeles

Before the entire wave of Yogurt shops arrived in the Philippines, there was Cold Spoon. We went here for a well-needed dessert after dinner at Junjun's Angeles with my Central Luzon buddies. Located along Fil-Am Highway, Cold Spoon has been standing in this same spot for four years already.

Since then, they have renovated the space to a bigger, igloo looking structure, with a contrasting warm toned colour palette inside.

Their yogurt comes in three sizes with a variety of toppings to choose from. They have Small for Php 60, Medium for Php 90 and Large for Php 150.

With only one base flavour (plain), you can add toppings by selecting from:
+15 toppings: choco cereal, strawberry syrup, choco syrup and almond clusters
+20 toppings: gummy bears, chocolate chips, oreo, chips ahoy, crushed honey grahams
+30 toppings: blueberry in syrup, strawberry in syrup, cherry in syrup and granolas

It was amusing to find two units of Coffee Bean Kaldis for serving their coffee and tea.

The ambiance was warm and quirky, with an interesting tree artwork on one side, disintegrating to flying birds up to the ceiling.

High stools align the window side, while two huge couch areas can accommodate groups easily.

A pair of lovebirds adorn one section of the shop.

I had the medium serving topped with crushed grahams and blueberries. I found the grahams too finely ground, but I was glad the server topped it 'til they almost spilled. I loved the quality of the yogurt here, rich and tart. It's comparable to yogurt franchises Red Mango and Pinkberry.
Medium + Grahams + Blueberry [Php 140]
Lie also had a medium, topped with crushed grahams and strawberries.
Medium + Grahams + Strawberries [Php 140]
Nikko had it with just strawberries.
Medium + Strawberries [Php 120]
Cold Spoon is a great dessert stop after visiting Clark's wide selection of restaurant options, best after having spicy Korean cuisine from the numerous Korean restaurants sprouting left and right.
